Gerberas are the most forgiving large-face flower you can buy: straight stems, a clean graphic bloom and no foliage to strip. They carry a low bowl, a tall clear vase, or a run of bud vases down a long table. Give them a fresh cut and shallow, very clean water — gerbera stems are thirsty but rot quickly in deep water.
